What is a Battleground?
Battleground is a new PvP game mode where you can participate in exciting battles using your combat and tactical skills. Both your performance and teamwork are important. In the Battleground you can earn Battle Points and achievements as well as Gold and HXP, so you can improve your character in this game mode as well.
You can join the different battles either alone or with your group. The randomly selected teams can defeat each other, defend strategic points and capture crystals, according to the type of the battle. The system checks your level and your earlier performance on the Battleground to sort the teams. During the losses and wins, your Hero Hero Experience Points and Gold will increase, so you can develop your character even if you like only this game type.
You can enter from level 6 (immediately after you finished the tutorial map), so if you do not like the quests and the fight against the monsters, then from the first moment you can choose this game mode and the development by the battles against others.
The system sorts the teams based on the abilities, levels and earlier results on the Battleground. After the sign up for the Battleground, the system will move you a waiting list, and if there are enough characters, the system will inform all the players. After it, there is a small amount of time (60-90 seconds, depend on the battle type) to teleport and prepare for the battle: you can hide or stand out an open place, etc. After this time, the battle begins with the tasks according to the selected game mode.
You can choose from four different battle modes on the Battleground. The different tasks, the randomly selected companions and opponents will make the battle to be unique. The four battle types:
Domination: Capture and keep strategic points with your team.
Power Hunting: Charge the randomly appeared crystals with your team and prevent the another team to do it.
Deathmatch: Kill as many opponents as you can with your team and get points in exchange for it. The team which collect the most points will be the winner.
Last Man Standing: All vs all, the last surviving player is the winner.
You can join on the Lobby surface. You can access it by the Battleground icon in the bottom right corner of the user interface, or by the hotkey B.
If you do not want to participate in the fight, you can watch the battles as a spectator!
Alongside the results, there is an achievement system with various stats and military ranks. There is also a new Battle Shop where you can buy items for your Battle Points.

The players can rate each other based on the behaviour on the Battleground. This is the Karma System. The rating (-1/+1) will be added to the player's karma. The players with bad karma will start with disadvantage, e.g. they will get fewer Battle Point at the end of the battle.

You can join on the Lobby surface. You can access it by the Battleground icon in the bottom right corner of the user interface, or by the hotkey B.
This button opens the Help menu if a player is already in a battle.
If somebody is on a run, this button is not available.
Battleground Chat:
The Lobby shows you information about the average waiting time and the available game modes, and here you can reach the ranklist and help menu too. You can see a chat here which shows only the BG messages, this messages appear in purple color purple in the normal chat window.

If the player put the Lobby window into small size, then the window which shows the waiting time will appear in the upper left corner. The waiting time starts with the sign up to the waiting list and finishes when the battle begins and the player enter the map.
There are 4 games modes:

The players fight in teams against each other, the maximum number of the team members is 5. The players will be placed to the base and they have half a minute before the fight, during this time they can not leave the base. After the preparation time, the health (basic health without bonuses) of all the players will be three times higher and then the battle begins.
You have 10 minutes for the battle. The winner will be the team which reaches the 50 points first or collects more points during the given time. If the fight is a draw, the battle will be extended with 5 minutes. During this 5 minutes, the team which gets the first point will be the winner. If the time is expired, the team which caused the most damage will be the winner.

The team which has the most point at the end of the battle will be the winner. The players fight in teams against each other, the maximum number of the team members is 5. The players will be placed to the base and they have half a minute before the fight, during this time they can not leave the base. After this time, the health (basic health without bonuses) of all the players will be three times higher and then the battle begins, the teams can start to capture the bases. There are bases in odd number on the map, the teams have to capture and keep them. If a base is surrounded by the members of a team, the capturing starts. If a player of the another team appears, the capturing will be interrupted. The players have 15 minutes for the fight. The winner will be the team which zeroes the opponent’s points quicker or has more points when the time expired. If the fight is a draw, the battle will be extended with 5 minutes. During this 5 minutes, the first ’dominating’ team will be the winner. If the time is expired, the team which caused the most damage will be the winner. The HP reg bonus does not work on the Battleground, but all players can heal at the beginning position.
Early truce:
The truce lasts for 30 seconds, during this time the teams are on their beginning points and they can not leave it. After 30 seconds, the way will be free to capture the nearest points. Both teams have three points: two nearer and a further point – which are the same points for both teams.

In the Power Hunting game mode, the teams can acquire points by the charging of the crystals. The team which collects the most points will be the winner. The players fight against each other in teams, the maximum number of the group members is 5. The players will be placed to the base where they have 2 minutes and they can move freely till the beginning. After it, the health (basic health without bonuses) of all the players will be three times higher, then the crystals appear on the strategic points and the battle starts. 3 crystals are placed on the map at the same time, at randomly selected locations. The players have to hit the crystals to charge them. 60 hits (skill or normal hit) are required to charge a crystal. The energy level of the crystals does not decrease if nobody hits them. If all the 3 crystals are charged, a newer round begins. The crystals change their colour to the colour of team which is attacking them, and when they are fully charged they will increase the energy reserve of the players suitable for their colour. One of the teams can steal the crystal from the opponent if there is no enemy player close to the crystal and a member of this team hits the crystal. The players have 15 minutes for the battle. The winner will be the team which charges its energy reserve to level 30 quicker or which charges more crystals during the given time. If the battle is a draw, the team which charges the next crystal will be the winner.
HP reg bonus does not work on the Battleground, all players can heal at their own beginning position. After a death, the character will be revived at the beginning point.
Early truce: The players are able to move and fight but the crystals will be positioned on the map after one minute only.
The crystals appear on the strategic points randomly. There are 3 crystals at the same time. The players have to hit the crystals to charge them. Every hit (normal hit and skill too) charges the crystal, 60 hits are required to charge a crystal fully. After the full charging, the crystal „dies” (lifts up and flies away) and the team which owns it at the moment of the charging gets a point.
The crystals are neutral first, but if somebody starts to hit them, they change their colour to the colour of team which is attacking them, until the member of the attacking team does not stop to hit it (because the crystals die or the members of the team escape). During this time, the hits of the opponents do not charge the cyrstal, so they can fight against the crystal-attacking characters. If a crystal has a new owner, its colour changes.
To win, the teams have to collect 30 points. If the time expires but there is no winner, the team which charged more crystals during the given time will be the winner. If the battle is a draw, the team which charges the next crystal will win.
Score counter: The players can see the actual points.

The players can see the actual points of the teams on the flags. Below it, the 3 actual crystals are visible with their owners’ colour or in white colour if nobody is attacking them.
