Dear Players,
Effective immediately, we are standardizing all official time references (announcements, events, patch schedules, maintenance windows, and promotions) to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). We will no longer use CEST in our communications.
Why this change
Clarity & fairness: UTC is a single, global reference that does not shift with daylight-saving changes, reducing ambiguity for a worldwide community.,
Consistency: One standard across all platforms (website, launcher, Discord, Steam) enables precise planning for everyone.,
Operational reliability: UTC improves scheduling, monitoring, and auditability across our systems.,
What this means for you
Every future time we publish will include the “UTC” suffix (e.g., September 18, 2025, 10:00 UTC).,
Previously issued times that referenced CEST remain as originally stated and are not retroactively converted.,
Where possible, our interfaces will also display a local-time preview or countdown; however, the authoritative source is always the UTC time in the announcement.,
How to stay aligned
Add a UTC clock on your device or use any reputable world-clock/time-zone converter.,
When in doubt, convert from the posted UTC time to your local time zone.,
We recognize this is a sudden change, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Our intent is to uphold the highest standards of transparency, professionalism, and service to a global player base. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust.
Sincerely,
Zephyr
